When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Ensure the propane tank valve is fully closed before installation.
• Screw the adapter's POL fitting into the tank valve by turning counter-clockwise. Hand-tighten securely.
• Attach the QCC1/Type 1 hose or regulator fitting to the adapter by turning the black connector clockwise. Hand-tighten until it stops.
• Do not use pipe thread sealant or tape on these connections.
• After all connections are made, slowly open the tank valve and check for leaks with a soapy water solution.
