When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Ensure the trimmer engine is stopped and the spark plug is disconnected before performing maintenance.
• Remove the old cap by pressing the locking tabs or unscrewing it from the trimmer head.
• Remove the old spring and clear any debris from the head assembly.
• Place the new spring into its housing.
• Align the new cap with the trimmer head and press or twist until it locks into place.
