When to Replace

  • HVAC fan only operates on the highest speed setting.
  • Blower fan speed cannot be adjusted or works intermittently.
  • No air is blowing from the vents even when the fan is audible.
  • A burning plastic smell is present near the passenger side dashboard.

Installation Tips

  • The module is typically located in the passenger-side footwell, mounted to the HVAC housing.
  • Always disconnect the vehicle's negative battery terminal before starting the installation.
  • Use the included wiring harness to replace the original connector, as overheating and corrosion on the original harness is a common point of failure.
