Button Becomes Stuck: The button stays depressed after flushing, causing the water to run continuously into the bowl.

Safety First: Turn off the water supply to the toilet and flush once to empty the tank. This makes it easier to work without water splashing.
Measure Twice: PRO TIP: Before installing, place the button in the lid and hold it over the flush valve to determine the required rod length. Rods that are too long will cause the toilet to run; rods that are too short won't trigger the flush.
Trimming the Rods: If the rods are too long, use a pair of pliers or a hacksaw to trim them in small increments. It is better to cut them slightly long and fine-tune the adjustment by threading them in or out.
Hand Tighten Only: Screw the mounting nut onto the button threads from the underside of the lid by hand. Overtightening with a wrench can crack the ceramic toilet lid.
Test the Flush: Once installed, replace the lid and test both buttons. Ensure there is a small "gap" (1–2mm) between the rod and the valve when the button is at rest to ensure the valve seats fully.
